ISLAMABAD: Following the leak of sensitive information belonging to National Bureau of Accountability (NAB), a new security policy was released on Thursday.
All NAB officers will now be obligated to sign an information security awareness declaration. No officer, under grade 19, will be allowed to use a mobile phone in the office according to this declaration.
NAB headquarters in Islamabad has mailed the new security policy to all the regional bureaus, saying that the new rules should be enforced with immediate effect.The action has been taken to improve information security.
Declaration of information security awareness will be signed by each officer in NAB; such that everyone will be responsible to protect the sensitive and secret data of NAB. In this way, data breach in the federal institution will be stopped.
