ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) has approved Easter allowance for its Christian employees.
According to media reports, under the agreement reached between CDA and Workers union, CDA approved Easter allowances for all of its Christian employees. The notification has properly been issued.
Under the notification, non-gazetted employees will be paid Easter allowance equal to their basic salary, and gazetted employees will be paid in addition to their allowance, an amount equal to half of their basic salary. Daily wage employees will be paid as per regular salary scales.
Payment of Easter allowance will be made to the Christian employees on April 06.
