RAWALPINDI: National Accountability Bureau during a raid has arrested a wanted person by the name of Sherbaz Ahmad from the area of Waris Khan.
The suspect was wanted by NAB as a witness to a mega corruption scandal in Gilgit Baltistan.
NAB was conducting several raids under Deputy Director Aurangzeb in different areas for the arrest of the suspect. The suspect was finally apprehended within Waris Khan Police jurisdiction.
According to NAB, the suspect is a close aide of a federal secretary and majority of corruption in various projects in GB was carried out through him.
