DI KHAN: Aftab Mehsud, an acquaintance of Naqeebullah Mehsud, was found dead within premises of a construction site on Saturday.
Aftab, one of the leading participants of the Islamabad sit-in seeking arrest of Rao Anwar in Naqeebullah encounter case, was found dead in DI Khan.
According to the family, Aftab left home on Friday but did not return. Later, the police called the deceased’s family to inform about the dead body.
It was also revealed that there were bullet marks on the body of the deceased, while an FIR has also been registered against unidentified assailants.
Police said that they are investigating the matter from every possible angle, including possible link to Naqeebullah’s alleged encounter case.
