LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has directed all concerned departments to remain fully vigilant and keep mutual coordination in view of the possible floods in the province.
He issued these directives while presiding over a video conference in Lahore on Thursday to review precautionary measures during the monsoon season.
The chief minister directed for round-the-clock monitoring of rivers’ situation and advised the meteorological department to forecast accurate weather reports while utilising latest technology.
